Lotus Laboratory Services (M) Sdn. Bhd. is established in Year 1997.
The company is registered under the Company Act as an Independent Testing
Laboratory. The company is situated at 5 & 7, Jln. Bakawali 36, Tmn. Johor
Jaya, 81100 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.
Prior to the establishment of Lotus Laboratory Services (M) Sdn. Bhd., the
company was operating under the analytical division of Lotus Techinical
Services, which was in operation since Year 1990. Since then, the company
has emerged from a subsidiary laboratory, to currently one of the largest
independent laboratory situated in the southern region of Peninsula Malaysia.
The Company is also one of the most equipped laboratory with whole range of
testing equipment to customise the need of both the research and industrial
markets in Malaysia.

also the objective of the company to ensure speedy delivery of reliable

If your company is situated within the normal sample collection route of
our company, you can enjoy the free sample collection services. A nominal
fee shall be charged for samples outside the routine route. Once your sample
have been collected, our expertise shall immediately assess and registed your
sample, and you can be assured of speedy and accurate results. Our group of
expertise is ready to share your burden, solve your technical problem and
grow together with your company.

| Accreditation |
|
The company is accredited by Department of Standard, Malaysia and awarded the SAMM
(MS ISO/IEC 17025:2005) certificate for a wide scope of chemical & microbiological
analysis.
The company is also accredited by Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Association
Ltd (FOSFA International), U.K as a competent laboratory to conduct Oil & Fats
testing for the requirement of Europe Market.
On top of this, the company is MPOB licensed laboratory for the analysis of all
type of tests for Palm Oil & its products in Malaysia.
The Laboratory is registered with Kementerian Kesihatan to perform chemical &
microbiological testings on their behalf, and a registered laboratory for the
issuing of export certificate*, and chemical certificate* in Malaysia.
Since year 1999, the company has also been accredited by Sri Lanka Standard
Institution(SLSI) for issuing of Pre-Export Certification for Edible Oil
Products to Sri Lanka.

| Clients Confidentiality |
It is the policy of the company to self guard the interest of the clients. Hence,
you can be assure that when your sample reaches our laboratory, all information
shall be strictly confident and shall not be reveal to any third party without
your prior approval.

| Standard Methods and Procedures |
The laboratory adopts the policy of using standard methods in all the testing
whenever possbile. This can avoid disputed and give better confident to our
clients. Methods such as AOCS, AOAC, FOSFA, ISO, APHA, ASTM, FDA & MS which
are internationally recognised are employed wherever possible.

staff of the company, the laboratory participated in a number of
international cross-check, such as Smalley, MPOB, FOSFA, Jabatan
Kimia Malaysia and so on.

requirement under the Food Acts 1983;

Fats, Trans-fatty acids, Calories content, Protein, Carbohydrate,

List of high tech & advance equipments
The company is equipped with a number of latest equipment, and is
capable of performing most of the anlysis for Foodstuff, water and
oil analysis. some of the equipments are as below;
Gas Chrom- Mass Spectrophotometer (GC-MS), for the identification of
unknown volatile compunds, and trace residue confirmation, such as trace
pesticides residues.
ICP-OES, an advanced technology equipment for the analysis of very trace
metallic contents. Including non-metallic compounds such as sulfur.
High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), for the determination of Vitamins,
Preservative, organic contaminants etc.
Headspace and Gas Chromatography, which is capable of doing volatile impurities,
fatty acids, saturated fats and unsaturated fats, methyl esters and organic
chemicals & components.
Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), with Hydride System capable to do most
of the trace element in water, mineral contents in foodstuff, edible oils and so on.
Karl Fisher Titrator, Methrom, able to monitor moisture content in chemical samples
or samples that contain volatile matters.
